FACT Aotearoa is grateful and proud to have been awarded funding from InternetNZ in April this year to assist us with our work. That work will be focused on the general election.
We plan to prevent the spread of misinformation by clearly setting out accurate information, explaining how conspiracy theories go wrong, and reporting on misinformation spreaders and their activities to raise public awareness of the problem.
We will be using this money to cover our operating costs and administrative support.
