Voices for Freedom: RNZ’s Tim Brown follows the money

Large sums of money traded hands during and leading up to the 23-day occupation, but it is unclear how it has been spent and who has benefitted. RNZ's Tim Brown talked to FACT Aotearoa about how the protest was funded.

How was the occupation at Wellington’s Parliament funded? The exact details are unknown, and Voices for Freedom is not living up to their website’s promise of financial transparency. Along with the group’s slick internal marketing apparatus, they’ve funded a $90,000 court case, printed two million fliers, hundreds of corflute signs and large billboards around New Zealand.

FACT Aotearoa spokesperson Lee Gringold talked with Tim Brown for his investigation into how the Wellington Parilarment protest was funded.
